Vue Club Hosts Brazilian Carnaval 2012

The much-anticipated, annual Houston tradition of Brazilian Carnaval (now in its 5th year) erupts on Saturday, February, 18, 2012 at the well known VUE CLUB. This celebratory spectacle and authentic demonstration of Carnaval dance, costuming, music, drink and food occurs on the same day as Brazil’s own Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro and Bahia. At the heart of the 2012 celebration is Samba Soul Band, with top-notch musicians performing sizzling Carnaval beats. The doors open at 8:00 p.m. with LIVE music by Samba Soul Band with Pagode, Sambas, and more.

Also featured Love Brazil Arts moving to batucada rhythms in their feather and sequined “barely there” costumes; an eclectic mix of Brazilian rhythms with the mixing the DJ´S; PLUS authentic Brazilian apetizer’s, caipirinhas (Brazilian Traditional drink), and giveaway souvenirs of Mardi Gras beads and masks.

LIVE VIDEO allows audience to witness Carnaval simulcast from Brazil with live feed of the Houston celebration aired on big screens, adding excitement to the Original Carnaval Party in Houston .
